    The free spending of the off-season continued on Wednesday when the Angels and Gary Matthews, Jr. agreed to a five-year, $50 million contract.

    In 2006 with Texas, he batted .313 with 19 homers and 79 RBIs and played superb defense
    Good signing for the Angels, I hate to see Garrett Anderson finally get pushed out though

    I am curious where they would put Anderson. This is already in the Transactions and Trade Rumors forum.
