Angels Bat Howie Kendrick leadoff or 2nd

Manager Mike Scoiscia admitted that his team's the first two batters in the lineup are not getting on base, mainly because he continued to bat Chone Figgins leadoff until recently. Scoiscia ought to be trying Howie Kendrick, who is a more talented hitter than Maicer Izturis and Orlando Cabrera, in the leadoff or 2-hole spot instead of allowing Kendrick to rot in the middle of the order.

Oddly enough, that's what I plan on doing. I'll send Scioscia an email and tell him how it goes.
    Marshall: MILSWANCAs?

: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
    Barney: Circle gets the square!

I like this move. I got a chance to see Howie a few years ago in the Midwest League and was very impressed with him. He is faster than people give him credit for and could be a very good lead-off hitter if given a chance. He has a good eye at the plate and works the count very well.
