    The Mets are already on the lookout for bullpen help, and they've remained in contact with the Kansas City Royals about Jeremy Affeldt and Mike MacDougal -- two pitchers in whom they had interest in the off-season.
    It's hard to believe that Royals would trade MacDougal. But I wouldn't be shocked to see Mets actually get Affeldt if their willing to pay the Royals price.

    Well I'm sure they wouldn't trade for him until their doctors checked him out and he was off the DL.
