    Nats get Pedro Astacio

    Desperate times call for desperate measures. I enjoy seeing the Nats fail.

    Veteran pitcher Pedro Astacio signed a one-year contract with the Nationals on Monday, two days after the team learned Brian Lawrence would be out until the All-Star break with a torn muscle in his throwing shoulder. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
