no it means, corey patterson will no longer be with the cubs.

Cubs give up Pinto (a prospect whose star is rapidly falling), Mitre (a nobody), and Nolasco, one of the better prospects.

someone else. Murton will be in left, Pierre in center, and they will probably trade for a right fielder. Mabry is the 4th outfielder.

I would think until they have someone else in there, that you have to pencil in Patterson, wouldn't you? I know they sent Patterson down and it seemed they practically gave up on him last year though.

i just cant see him on the opening day roster under any circumstances. He is more hated in this town than Sammy is, and thats taking a lot.
