granted, this is the first season we've actually had some pieces that teams want... judge, severino, mateo... bird and clarkin to a lesser degree... that we didnt have the last couple years. but the baby steinbrenners dont care, and cashman always wanted to be analytical build through the draft/international market type genius.

Trust me Hammer they'd be loading up even if you weren't in first. Yankees are rarely out of anything. Yes, they want to go to the WS and to do that 9 times out of 10 we got to go through the Yanks or the Red Sox, well, we know where they're at so YOUR IT! Yes, other divisions would be similar, but we were talking about Yanks and Jays, our division.
