Still pretty quiet on the Rays front, though they are said to be listening on Nathan Karns. Beat writer Marc Topkin, thinks if anyone goes it will be Kevin Jepsen.
On the Padres front this is beginning to feel a lot like the offseason, a lot of rumors of them about to do something but nothing about them actually doing anything.

i dont really know the defensive stats, because i havent looked in a while, but i gotta assume everyone but beltran is above average on the field. even dumb fuck drew. but beltran might be the most pitiful human on the planet on the defensive end of baseball. hes really not good at offense either. but hey, we get to pay him 15 million dollars next year too!
