    Bret Boone DFNYY

Bret Boone was told last night that he is being released by the Twins.
Boone hit just .170 since the trade and seemed to understand. ''I played (crappy),'' he said. ''I haven't played anywhere close to how I've played in the past. I'm as disappointed as anyone with my performance.'' Expect the official word to come down today.

He actually played pretty closely to how he has played in the past year.

He's still got a great glove. Rockies should try and resurrect his career while Miles is on the DL.

Maybe he should get back on steroids.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Coors doesn't resurrect everyone's bat. Rare examples like Pierre and Uribe have been better since leaving, lol.
