    Randy Winn to ??

Randy Winn has been scratched from this afternoon's lineup and a trade is expected.
We don't know where he's going, but the Yankees have been attached to his name most often.

    Can anyone say Yankees?

He's not much better than a dying Bernie. I fully expect the Yankees to not realize this.

Yeah, I am wondering why the Yanks would do this. winn is decent, but no more decent than Williams. I guess a platoon is really all they want. This one could be the next one called. Yankees picking up players once again, Look out!

The Giants have made a late bid for Randy Winn, offering two mid-level prospects, according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.
A Mariners source told the paper Saturday that there is a 90 percent chance Winn will be dealt before the deadline. The Mariners will likely recall Chris Snelling after Winn goes. Winn could play center and left in San Francisco

haha Kingdom! I think this just may be the big trade of the deadline too. This may end up being the worst deadline ever in the history of baseball since the deadline was created.

Basically its crap for crap and don't why know the Giants did this. Foppert is hurt and might never fully recover from his surgery two years ago and Torrealba can't hit a lick. At least Winn brings a nice glove and a little bit of speed to this team. Expect Sanchez and Grissom to be released.

Sanchez is on the DL, otherwise he's done pretty well hitting over .300.
