    Mets Mets most aggressive?

The Mets are known to be after Manny Ramirez right now. And now with that deal looking less likely, they are said to be looking into Alfonso Soriano. Would you guys say that the Mets are the most active in wanting to get a deal done?

Omar likes dealing kind of like Bonehead, so I would say they are up there in terms of pushing for a deal before the deadline.

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

It looks like they are trying to run away with this division with a big move to aide them in their quest. So, should we be looking at a very possible soriano deal then?

The Mets do need something but I am not sure they can get it in a trade. They seem to lack cohesiveness as a team. Maybe a trade could help....but I doubt it.

This is what Floyd said in a recent interview...

"We can bring in Manny. And I know he would help," Floyd said. "But sometimes you can't tell what's missing here, and if you can't tell, you don't know who can bring it."

Sounds Yogi-ian. But the Mets left Minute Maid Park on Friday as they left on Thursday and as they left Coors Field two times earlier in the week -- disappointed and scratching their heads.

"It's not enough to want it," Floyd said. "You've got to take it, and we're not doing that."

Why isn't the 118 million dollar man doing anything to help?

The Mets were the least agressive.
