Wait?
They got rid of Wells for Mike Napoli?
Still working on this.
Bautista should get signed now, but still working on this. In my head. Realing.

S3SL: Toronto Blue Jays' GM - rebuilding to division winner

I really don't know what to say.
That was an all time top 10 worst, not trade-able contracts I've ever seen. And AA did it. It's gone 86 million dollars over the next 4 years gone. That alone makes me happy. I don't care if Juan Rivera, and Mike Napoli are all we get back. They add up to such a small percentage of that money if AA even brings thing along for the next 4 years. Of course the Jays could eat some salary, but still happy to see it gone.
In AA We Trust.
jasoncollette (jasoncollette) on Twitter: Yes, turds do splash RT @r_j_anderson: Angels making splashes.
Desperate teams will make terrible moves.
DownGoesBrown: Love how the Wells trade includes a Napoli physical, as if Jays would walk away. Doctor: "He has no legs." Jays: "Yeah, we're OK with that."
3 skeletons of baseball players traded. Seems like a wash to me
Jays get a maximum of $11.35 million in guaranteed contracts, Angels get $86 million.
Thats not a wash, thats money laundering.
Bah if only the Cubs could find a way to do this with Soriano.

Both teams announce the deal is done. With no money being exchanged.
Whoever the hell is the GM in Orage County needs some help, major league help.
Friggin great deal, even if Napoli and Rivera retire on opening day. Dumping Wells for anything breathing deserves a bow.
Group hug. Where's Mission and the hookers.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!
The 2074 MSL NL Gold Glove Recipient at Third Base.
From the Orange County Register, word clouds for Angels and Jays fans' respective reactions to the trade. (My favorite words are "Pearl Harbor" down in the bottom right corner of the Angels' version, and "Jedi-like" in the Jays')
Words cannot describe just how terrible of a move this was for the Angels. They couldn't sign Beltre or anyone else but they can take on Wells' contract? The Jays got a lot of salary relief and got some production to offset the loss of Wells' bat. Great move for them, just a fucking terrible move for the Angels. Only good move from this is Wells will be moving to LF.
