Diamondbacks are gonna want a huge amount for him, something which I doubt the Jays can really afford to pull off. Again these are random internet rumors made up of, Player A is avaliable, Team X needs them, and they have players G, H, and J to trade. Would I like to see this happen, hells ya. Doesn't mean it is gonna be good for the team.

Both pitchers the Jays traded had a chance to compete for bullpen spots in 2011. I didn't expect much from Magnussen, butI wanted to see Farquar as he pitches from multiple arm slots and was thought to have closer potential.

F lewis should go, and won't really be missed. He has a chip on his shoulder in a bad way, I don't think he'll every be what he could be.

I'm glad the Jays are going to run more, but Davis will definitely need to take more walks or hit 320 to be a good lead off guy.

And JBau will play 3rd, so there is no logjam.

Snider will not be moved, we've only begun to see his talent. Don't forget he still was one of the youngest players in the league last year.

God damn it, Ned Colletti is going to acquire Fred Lewis, isn't he? Especially after all the crap I've given the Giants for having stuck with him as their starting leftfielder?

I'm glad Fred Lewis has signed with the Reds instead. Not that Eugenio Velez is better, but rather Velez isn't guaranteed a spot on the roster.

As if a second stint for Fatdruw with the Dodgers can be any worse than his first stint.

    Re: Jays Add Davis

Blue Jays signed OF Rajai Davis to a two-year, $5.25 million contract with a $3 million club option for 2013.
The new deal buys out his final two seasons of arbitration eligibility. Davis will earn $2.5 million in 2011 and $2.75 million in 2012. He batted just.284/.320/.377 last season with five home runs and 52 RBI in 143 games, but he swiped 50 bases in 61 chances and his highly fantasy relevant.
Looks like he's not going to be a one year guy in Toronto.
