    We needed a 4th OF that was a righthanded bat, so he makes perfect sense. Hopefully the local boy from RI can stay healthy, he'll become a instant fan favorite. Hopefully we can get Kotsay back for the 5th OF/1B guy but we'll see where that takes us

    This is a great signing for the Sox. I love Baldelli (can't anymore, *********) and I think if he is limited to about 80 games tops, he can be a huge part of a team. He's got that mitochondrial disease, which limits his stamina, but if you hold him to a game or inning count, he can be deadly with the bat and in the field.
