Kerry Wood is close to a 2-year deal with the Indians that would include an option for a 3rd.

This is an EXCELLENT deal for Cleveland, as they have had to struggle with Joe Borowski on the mound the last few years, who basically causes all his fans to suffer a collective cardiac arrest every time he grabs a baseball.

After Cleveland finally cut ties with Borowski in the middle of last year, 24-year old Jenson Lewis saved 13 games. He and Rafael Perez will set up for Wood.

Great deal for the Indians!! The Indians had the worst bullpen last year and Wood gives them the closer they desperately needed. Its only a two year deal and Perez or Lewis could be ready to close when Wood leaves. This will most likely be the biggest splash the Indians make all year and it was a good one.
