It said on rotoworld earlier that he had, and even if he hasn't, it seems like he is leaning away, and it seems like many Yankee fans(at least the ones on talk radio) are getting sick of him and asking him to either choose them or go away...

Ummm.....he definitely did not reject the deal. He met with Cashman yesterday, and then asked to meet with him again today. He talked to Joe Girardi about the lifestyle in NY because they both have 3 kids, and Ricky Henderson talked to him because Henderson was in the same situation, chose NY, and tore shit up. Henderson even lives in the bay area now.

CC is clearly interested. Some Yankee fans are baseball retarded. They thing because we're the Yankees we should get everyone we want. It makes me sick sometimes. Not all Yankee fans, just some. Those are the Yankee fans who are getting sick of CC right now. He's right to take his time, and he's going to make an educated decision.

I had originally seen this report:

UPDATED: Giants talk to Sabathia’s camp; Yanks rumored to be out, Brewers emerging | Extra Baggs

However, you're right, the report is apparently unconfirmed.

Seriously man, stick to reliable sources. That's a random blog that nobody knows about. Could be anybody. Peter Abraham's the way to go with Yankees rumors. He's one of the top Yankee beat writers, and when he finds something out, will post it right away. He's in Las Vegas now, and he's been posting every few hours for the last couple of days. Here's his blog:

    The LoHud Yankees Blog

You know he's a bigtime beat writer when Joe Girardi gets him with a whoopie coushin

My source was the San Jose Mercury News. Since CC is rumored to be talking to at least one Southern California team, it's not entirely unreliable....

Yes, but when it has to do with a team on the East Coast, best to get it confirmed. No biggie though

Well I think if any or just one of the west coast teams offered Sabathia the same amount of money as the Yanks, he will sign with the west coast team.

Hey if the Giants can give Zito 126 million, then I wont be surprised that they wont offer CC 140m.

    Re: K-rod to the Mets

It'd be nice for baseball if F-raud blows for the Mets. I'm tired of these non-creative asshat big market general managers stealing talented players away from the teams that had the patience to groom them into stars.

Then he lied. He said he wanted to stay in "L.A.". And the Angels offered him nearly the same cash, a $34 million extension, but the greedy prick thought he was worth $80 million.

    Re: K-rod to the Mets

Even so, how is that stealing?? So he thought he could get more in the FA market, and when he didn't, he took about the same contract. That's not the Mets' fault

Ok, don't call it 'stealing', then. Does 'being vultures' sound better to you?
