MLB The Real Weekend At Bernie's

According to the New York Post, Bernie Williams has not ruled out attempting a comeback at the age of 40.
"I'm looking to keeping my options open, keep working out,'' Williams said, adding that it would only take him "a matter of weeks" to get back into playing shape. Unfortunately, Williams hasn't played since 2006 and hit just .281/.332/.436 with limited range defensively even then.
Bernie is the real life Bernie Lomax, he just won't go away. I loved Bernie when he was playing for those championship Yankee teams but after two season out of the game, stick to your music or playing with you kids but no more baseball. I cannot see a team giving Bernie a chance after Kenny Lofton was hardly looked at last offseason and eventually was forced to retire. Stick an arrow in your head and look for buried treasure because your baseball days are done Bernie.

    He's not coming back.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Bernie Williams will head to Puerto Rico next week for winter ball and hopes to represent the country in next year's World Baseball Classic.
Williams, 40, told New York reporters in November that he hasn't ruled out a comeback to the big leagues. A strong performance in the WBC could pique the interest of a few teams. Then again, he might have to fight for playing time on team Puerto Rico.

Re: The Real Weekend At Bernie's

The New York Journal News reports that Bernie Williams "suffered a serious quadriceps injury" after joining a Puerto Rican winter ball team.
Williams joined the team with eye on playing for Puerto Rico in the upcoming World Baseball Classic, but the injury could derail the 40-year-old's comeback attempt.
    That didn't last long.
