It probably has something to do with the credibility of your opinion.

Or the fact that the Yankees mishandled Joba since no thinks otherwise.

I think otherwise LTR. I would say that it seems to be working out quite well and thus I declare it a success.

That's not the question. Question is did they mishandle it? It is working out well now and I haven't said different. Would you rather have Joba starting all year or half a year? Tim Lincecum seems to be doing just fine in his sophmore year. No one yet is saying they handled it perfectly.

Well I kind of agree with you. I didn't really like Joba starting out pitching like 4 innings a start and then having to go to the pen. Starting at the beginning or stretching him out in the minors mid season would have made more sense i think.

OK fiasco might have been the wrong word but it wasn't handled great.

Jesus Christ, it was handled fine, you wanna waste him in the minors while some random scrub from AAA makes a couple starts? Thank god you're not the Yankees manager.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

A couple of starts? Joba missed how many starts? AAA starters have been starting all season. Maybe if Joba started starting in March this would have been handled better. It was not handled fine.

Being that this is all coming from the guy who thought Joba was the closer of the future, Rivera should not have been re-signed, and talked about a David Riske-Joba late inning punch, your opinion really doesn't mean much.

It's pretty funny this is what we're arguing about. Considering Joba has a 2.4 ERA since his conversion with more than a strikeout per inning and a declining walk rate...sure..you know what? We did a horrible job rah rah rah bad bad bad bad

I would've rather had Jeff Karstens or Kei Igawa for 3 starts too.

You must spread some reputation around before giving it to perforatededge54 again.

Its just year one bro! Rivera still has two more years. I was right about Posada!! Joba would have made a great closer. Yeah who was Riske a better option than??? Oh yeah, LaTroy Hawkins who you thought could work out. Your opinion smells too.

Considering he could have started the whole year instead of the two months he had!!!! Yanks might actually be on top of some race. Instead they are looking up.
