    Interesting idea if it happened. Jones is obviously having a crappy year and if they could find a starting spot for Soriano, Pie, and Murton, I think they would. With that said, Jones usually provides a league average bat if not better as well as a good mix of gap and HR power. He'd be a solid #5 hitter behind Cameron in that lineup, although with his OBP, I wouldn't put him higher than that.

    Well, I'm not finding anything anywhere and apparently even 1090 isn't saying anything.

    Either information leaked before it was supposed to or it's just a dumb rumor.
