The only one I would as an Oriole fan want for manager is Davey Johnson.
I agree. But here is a question for you O's fans. Do you think Davey will have the patience to, for a lack of a better word, re-build?

No, what i really believe the Orioles should do is keep Dave Trembley for the remainder of the season and see what happens. But that wasn't an option.
I agree with you rockin.
That is why I think Trembly or even Cora has a lgit shot. They both want a chance to prove themselves.
I remember Manual in Chi-town, he was unsuccessful.
This is the same guy who as manager in LA demanded that the front office fulfill his fetishes, namely left-handed hitters, resulting in bad trades such as Gold Glove catcher in Charles Johnson being shipped in exchange for Todd Hundley, who was then coming off major shoulder surgery.
Joey Cora is the former Seattle Infielder correct? He use to manage the Kingsport Mets. I know this because my parents are living in Kingsport, TN and we went to a game a long time ago before I joined the military and I thought it was him because I remember seeing him while we were living in CA. Later that day I looked up the Kingsport Mets and sure enough his name and picture was there.
I liked Cora back in his playing days but I don't see him as a big league manager.

Cora is now the bench coach for the Chicago Whitesox.
