If you take out a horrible April Eddie has at least been above average with a 2.25 ERA in May and 4.50 in June. As bad as the pen and closers have been that would be an improvement. Krivsky didn't really have a chance to go out there and get any immediate solutions for the pen since most of the FAs had already signed. The Reds are still in the race and its good to see the new Owners and FO are at least TRYING. Plus, everyone thought Todd Jones was done before he came to Cincinnati and last time I checked he did pretty good .

Also remember Krivsky's other moves and how MOST of them have worked out.

Well lookie here... the Tigers dont suck for a couple months and they starting acting like they run the place . When was the last time you all had a WINNING SEASON? 5 years? 7 years? 10 years? 12 years?!?!?! Wow great history there ..

We were great until Randy Smith took over. We got better and better after Randy Smith left. Your Reds should know what it's like to have horrible GMs. Hell, you have a long list of them.

Oh and I just punched some numbers out. I figured out the avg winning pct for both teams between 1901-2005 were:

Detroit Tigers= .493
Cincy Reds= .502

Practically 9 percentage points. I would say that we've both been average teams.
