A tumultuous Wednesday is not fully in the books yet, but the New York Jets have already made multiple splashes today. First, the new Jets GM Witlon traded away migraine machine Percy Harvin to Tampa Bay for a mid round pick, and then acquring the latest domestic violence affender Junior Gallette from the Saints for a 4th rounder. "We felt that moving Percy should be a priority. We gave a six for him, and we got a 4th back, that's a fair enough trade," Witlon said, moments after the trade was complete.

"As for Galette," Witlon continued, "even if he logs ten games this season, he should be worth it." Galette is facing a six game suspension for violating the league's new domestic violence policy last month. Galette graded out as the #6 pass rusher overall in the NFL last season, and #2 4-3 pass rushing end. "With the switch from a 3-4 to a 4-3, we felt the talent influx would outweigh any negative effects to adding Junior. He's a talented young man, and we hope he can put his off the field troubles behind him, and be one for the Jets. Besides, we're not going to find anyone that good on defense in Round 4 of the draft."

Early reports that a smattering of interest in WR Eric Decker, TE Jace Amaro and QB Geno Smith, though nothing is set in stone yet. "We're listening. We're hoping to move these guys, as well, but haven't found an offer we're prepared to move on yet."
