Its solid, but I like to draft pitching early. I don't like a few players fantasy wise(Berkman may have a slow year, Lane?, MacDougal[isn't even closing], and Josh Towers) I'd comb the free agent market, look for rookies (like Liriano, Hermida, Brian Anderson, Dave Williams), guys who could be contributors. Take someone like Gil Meche, who will be solid rather than a risk like Towers. Otherwise, it's a damned good team.

Gil Meche has been nothing but mediocre.

Berkman is solid, as is MacDougal.

Dude MacDougal is a waste, as is Berkman of a high pick. I'm sure there was someone else available at that point in the draft. And how many wins did Meche have last year?

Meche had 10 wins. Hardly spectacular, considering he had a 5.09 ERA and piss poor K numbers.
