2011 Baseball/Slant Points League Changes/Signup

The biggest change is stopping the total season point league format and moving to head to head points. I also decreased the number of relief starters and increased the number of bench players allowed.

I am personally pretty happy with the distribution of points right now, I thought it was better than 2009. But if there is anything big that should be changed (not just with points, let me know.)

League right looks to be me, Zito, Porter, Leo, Foster, bwitty, marinersfan, bcshorts, mofo, and GiantsFanatic. So there will probably an opening or two. Please post here if you are still interested in playing or if you would like to join.

Bump. The draft is in 2 days. We might want to start replacing the inactive managers (bcshorts and MarinersFan) and set the keepers ASAP.

Can't pick keepers anymore, the deadline has passed. And there are a lot of good ball players that didn't get picked.

Sorry guys. After being sick and working non-stop the last 10 days or so, this has all slipped my mind.

I pushed back the draft until next Sunday and also pushed back the keeper deadline until Thursday. FYI on keepers, I upped them to 5 a few weeks ago and I think some of you already had your keepers in before then, so select two more if you wish.

I am sending out a PM to a few of the members as well as to a few who might be interested in joining. A more detailed league email will be going out.
