**** that, I think after my performance where I snuck Bubba Crosby in to be my manservant I deserve him. Nothing weird of course.
In case someone missed it.
Dave Ryan at the post game interview:
Reporter #1: So, you dominated...how does it feel to know that you won your first decision like that.
DRY: Honestly, it's no surprise, I told you I was an ace.
Reporter #2: Ace? Nice job only getting gameball #3.
DRY: Who the **** needs a gameball? My pitches make umpires eyes bleed, grown men cry, and babies giggle. I'm fine without the dirty rawhide ball. I'm just going to throw it anyway.
Reporter #3: That's a lot of disdain for the game. Don't you like baseball?
DRY: Who let a woman in here? This is a men's discussion honey. Go make me dinner.
Reporter #4: You're an insensitive dbag.
DRY: And you're a pencil pushing beat boy who gets his jollies from watching me throw a ball.
DRY storms out, knocking over the table and can be heard asking: Where's Bubba?
And a good pitcher to boot.
Please tell me you didn't miss the flight...my parents aren't in Detroit

Swept Away!
Three games into the season, and the Kansas City Royals look like the dominant team in the American League. After winning the first two games against the favored Detroit Tigers, the Royals had to deal with Jeremy Bonderman.
The offense got started right away with a 1 out double from Lou Milman. The very next pitch, to Leo Palmer, was crushed an estimated 417 feet to right field, giving the Royals a 2-0 lead. Unfortunately, when that lead was lengthened to 3 runs on a Leo Palmer double, John Mulder could not hold on. After allowing singles to Edgar Renteria and Miguel Cabrera in the bottom of the 8th, Magglio Ordonez drilled an 0-2 pitch to deep center field and over the wall, as well as the glove of a leaping Rachel Bonner to tie the game at 3.
Mulder ended up going 10 innings, astounding in itself, allowing only those 3 runs. In the top of the 11th, the Royals looked to have finished the game off when Lou Milman singled, and scored on an RBI triple by Leo Palmer, giving Palmer a cycle. Two batters later, Curtis Carson hit a sacrifice fly for an insurance run.
Unfortunately, Matt "Crazy" Eights was unable to close this one out. A single to Miguel Cabrera started out the inning innocently enough, however, when Magglio Ordonez hit his 2nd home run of the game, Eights pounded his mitt in frustration over the first blown save of his career. He recovered to get the next two outs, only to watch with disdain from the dugout.
In the top of the 12th, Corey Shipplett led off with a home run. Kyle Bonn followed with a double, and 2 batters later, Brett Zimmerman hit a sacrifice fly to drive Bonn home. With a 7-5 lead, Manager Lou Mills sent Eights back out to redeem himself. Despite allowing a leadoff single, Eights proceeded to pick off Ramon Santiago. The next two batters flew out weakly to Rachel Bonner, and the Royals had swept the rival Tigers.
An ugly game by most accounts give the Royals a win, and they'll take it right now. Having started the year 3-0, they look to continue their winning ways against the Minnesota Twins. The next game is tomorrow evening at 7PM. The schedule pitching matchup is Kevin Brown vs. Nick Blackburn.
It figures that with five-tool ratings of 10 across the board, Palmer would hit for the cycle. I'm surprised he hasn't hit 4 homeruns in a game yet! Maybe next game.
What's up with your pitchers going 8, 9 and 10 innings, respectively? Do you use a bullpen at all? Or maybe the opposing hitters don't work the count and don't take pitches.
Also, this Shiplett kid seems clutch.
I try to avoid middle relievers, bc they're the royals, and they aren't very good. Plus, the opposing teams dont work the count.
Bow down to my superiority.

I'm glad Crazy blew the save.
I wouldn't have been able to complete the cycle without it.

you're right. But the Tigers did not score 2 in the 9th. That was a typo.
