Did you know... the resident weirdo DirtyKash was once in a sim league, way back centuries ago in S3SL?

Fairly recently, an active poster jumped on to our ship. HollywoodLeo has made a very smooth transition to sim leagues. Well before him, long before him, Providence A's made the same venture and he's even running a league now.

So why not more try it?


I'm looking at you, love that reefer, hardy blonde, giantsfanatic, etc. Maybe even Leo's brother?

I'm pretty sure I joined a sim league and spent 90% of my payroll on signing Vladimir Guerrero. Then I think the league contracted my franchise.

I have no idea how sim leagues work.

I can vouch that the SIM leagues are the shit. When I was first ask to join one about a month ago I was like this looks way too complicated and boring as I was a real fantasy baseball nut. Now my fantasy tem is on the back burner and my SIM team is pretty much what I think about quite a bit. I am learning new things all the time and the more advanced owners in the league I am in go out of there way to help me all the time. It is an experience that has been well received by me.

Haha. Personally, since the first one I joined, I always secretly hoped to run a league one day. I don't know if it will happen, but I can definitely tell you that SIM leagues (esp the ones on this site) are awesome. So, join them.


PS: If I ever have my own league, you should join that one too, haha

I know TSSL as 2 openings, Houston and Milwaukee.

The CSSL has a couple of openings, and is designed for owners that are completely new to OOTP. We have a few divisions that are reserved for only those that have never been in OOTP before. When the CSSL was started, I wanted the focus to bring in new OOTPers, and many new posters to the forum joined as well as current posters such as Bon Bon, Heks, BRewersfan19, and more. I didn't want to mix the divisions up though and have an experienced OOTPer like Koz or Dave take over a division and let the new guys struggle at the bottom. Some ultra experienced owners like Koz and Dave are in divisions with other experienced OOTPers. New OOTPers like Bon Bon and Daniducci have their own divisions.

So if you want to give OOTP a shot, and want to try out the CSSL, send me a PM, and I'll get you a team.
