if he had a receiver who could get open once in a while, he may not even be that awful. this is just a brutally coached team, especially offensively... but that rushing 3 shit has gotta stop... but i still have no doubts theyll beat up on the bad teams on our schedule [still got buffalo x2, miami x2, minnesota, tennessee, pittsburgh and kc] and eek out a 7-9 or 8-8 year. because thats what the jets do. we suck, but we find ways to not suck enough to ever get a game changer. we're lucky richardson fell to us.

I would normally think the Jets would do that seeing how they always do that, but I can't see them getting maybe 4 more wins at most. It'll knock them out of the running for Mariota, but Amari Cooper will be there for the taking still.

Rotoworld has picked it up, but I'd like to see a second confirmation before I react to it accordingly...

    Aaaaand confirmed by RapSheet.

I'm assuming this is Idzik trying to save his and Rexy's jobs?

Reported "mid round". Certainly didn't overpay, but it wouldn't have happened if the Jets didn't miss on Jalen Saunders so badly.

yea, i just read 2nd-4th. i wonder what the conditions could possibly be though. i hope hes a bum this year, we only give up a 4th, and then hes great next year. but i doubt it.

they gave up on jalen saunders after one muffed punt. saunders isnt quite harvin in terms of explosiveness either... saunders is more a jeremy kerley type. but they still never gave him a shot on offense.

"I'm assuming this is Idzik trying to save his and Rexy's jobs?"

not at all his own job, and i doubt hes trying to save rex's job since i think he wants to bring in a seattle guy anyway. this has woody johnson written all over it. "I NEED A STORY TO KEEP PEOPLE FROM TALKING ABOUT HOW BAD WE ARE!!!"

Well, he's not guaranteed, so if he's a bum this year, I would assume the Jets would just cut him and try to find another WR in the draft.

bum was perhaps too harsh a word, and i wouldnt want to give up on him after a half season that was pretty much considered a throw away from week 1.

on a positive note, now that ive woken up a little more, i finally realized why we traded for harvin. powell got hurt last night, and he fumbled the only snap he took last night. HARVINS GONNA RUN THE WILDCAT FULL TIME!
