New Orleans selects WR Donte Moncrief, Ole Miss

The Saints let Lance Moore walk away, Marques Colston is getting long in the tooth and Kenny Still looks like he's going to need some help in the near future so New Orleans nabs a big talented receiver who can make sudden breaks and create separation in the tightest man coverage. There is some question about his straight line speed but he managed to run a 4.40 in the 40 yard dash.

Indianapolis selects WR Martavis Bryant, Clemson

I hate to make this pick, because Indy a couple other needs, but I just don't see value in anyone at the other positions. With Reggie Wayne coming off a major knee injury(not to mention his age), and Hakeem Nicks just being flat out awful last year, the Colts need depth at WR and get it here. Bryant is a little raw, but he'll be a great deep threat for years to come and in two years be Andrew Luck's go-to-guy.

Carolina selects OT Billy Turner, North Dakota State

Jordan Gross is gone and the Panthers need to fix their offensive line where Ryan Khalil may be the only returning starter next season. Billy Turner has an impressive build and a good in run protection which fits the Panthers power offense, especially with how much they rely on the run. Turner didn't play against the same competition like the first round tackles but he could anchor the blindside just as well as Gross in the next season or two.

San Francisco selects LB Jeremiah Attaochu, Georgia Tech

- Who knows what's going to happen with Aldon Smith? Dan Skuta played quite well last year, but he's best suited for special teams duty(and he may be able to help inside if Bowman isn't back by week 1). They've solved their defensive line problems and corner problems already, so this is pretty much a shoe-in with the board going this way.

New England selects C Weston Richburg, Colorado State

The Patriots brought back starting center Ryan Wendell on a 2 year contract which means is nothing more than a "prove to me" contract. He's been serviceable the last couple seasons, but last season was underwhelming and the Patriots need to upgrade the center position and add Weston Richburg who has good football intelligence, called plays at the line and he has experience at guard and tackle as well which will help him on New England because they love versatility. This is a natural fit as Richburg has the athleticism and fit for a zone blocking scheme run by the Patriots.

Denver selects CB Marcus Roberson, Florida

I thought about some other corners here, but I'll just go with my top corner left. Outside of this, the Broncos don't have that many needs other than depth. Aqib Talib signed, but they still need help at the back end, and they grab a potential steal here at the end of Round 2.

Seattle selects DT Dominique Easley, Florida

The Seahawks are looking for a replacement for Red Bryant, but Easley isn't the big space eater who picks up double teams, instead he is a a quick twitch athlete who can make big plays (he had 8.0 tackles for losses last season). There are questions about his ACL tears and how he can hold up and he is undersized, but you can't deny he can be an explosive and exciting piece to the defensive line.
