Oakland selects LB Kyle Van Noy, BYU
Oakland did a fine job selecting Sio Moore in last years draft but still need more talent and youth, even with the addition of Lamar Woodley. Kyle Van Noy is one of the more well rounded linebackers in the draft and could easily win a starting job before the season begins. He's athletic and reads and reacts well, but wasn't as explosive this year with Ansah in the NFL.

No, no. The Matt attack is the answer at QB. And they still had plenty of time to take a QB in the second.

Not the fuck anymore!
This is why I can't give up OAK in GML. Sorry Slyder
Re: Witlon and Schniso Do A Back And Forth Mach Draft
Atlanta selects Edge Rusher Dee Ford.
Sure he's smallish, but he's the best pass rusher on the board for a team that needs a needs a jolt on the defensive side. There's just not much there, pass rusher wise.

Re: Witlon and Schniso Do A Back And Forth Mach Draft
Tampa Bay selects TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Washington
The Tight End situation isn't pretty and they could use more help at receiver as well but it will be hard for lovely to pass on a big body tight end like Seferian-Jenkins, he has great body control and soft hands. Jace Amaro is another option but there's just more upside with the Washington product, who also adjusts well to the ball but still won't be the slot option that Amaro can be.
Re: Witlon and Schniso Do A Back And Forth Mach Draft
Jacksonville selects QB Tom Savage, Pittsburgh
With Chad Henne(a bitch, I tell ya...), signed up for 2 years, the Jaguars get their QB of the future. Savage has many question marks, but none of them are his arm talent. If Justin Blackmon can figure things out, he's got some nice pieces in place to work with in the future, as well.
Re: Witlon and Schniso Do A Back And Forth Mach Draft
Minnesota selects G Xavier Su'a Filo, UCLA
With Zack Martin taken earlier in the first round Xavier remains the best guard on the board and if there was another weakness other than quarterback play it would be the play of the offensive guards. Charlie Johnson is one of the worst rated starters last year and needs to be replaced, this is a boon for the Vikings as Filo is one of the most pro ready players available here and in the draft. Su'a Filo is strong and has impressive upper body strength and should be able to handle bull rushes from opposing defensive tackles.
Re: Witlon and Schniso Do A Back And Forth Mach Draft
Buffalo selects WR Marquise Lee, USC
And Buffalo catches a falling potential star. EJ Manuel got his right tackle in the first, now he gets a #1 receiver of the future. Robert Woods and Stevie Johnson(who still may be cut) are still there, and there's some complementary talent there, too, but Woods is too hard to pass up at this spot.
Re: Witlon and Schniso Do A Back And Forth Mach Draft
Tennessee selects RB Carlos Hyde, Ohio State
Chris Johnson is gone and Shonn Greene doesn't play like an every down back. Not a single back was taken in the first round but the Titans aren't afraid to make Hyde the first back off the board. He is an impressive north-south runner that rushed for over 1,000 yards even after missing the first three games. Hyde could follow in a similar path as another Ohio State alum but does lose himself sometimes and has troubles breaking some tackles, still he's a big back that can help wear down defenses and take some pressure off Jake Locker.
Re: Witlon and Schniso Do A Back And Forth Mach Draft
NY Giants select TE Jace Amaro, Texas Tech
They passed on a similar(better) talent in the first round to go with Anthony Barr, so they grab a weapon for Eli here. Hakeem Nicks is gone, Brandon Myers is gone to Tampa Bay, and Adrian Robinson surely can't be their starting TE. Amaro isn't much of a blocker, but he's a sure-handed field stretching TE that would likely step in as their #3 receiving option.
Re: Witlon and Schniso Do A Back And Forth Mach Draft
St Louis selects G Gabe Jackson, Mississippi State
After Oakland bungled the Roger Saffold deal the Rams were able to bring back a player who performed well after the move to guard but they still need another starter. Enter a road grater and mammoth of a man, Gabe Jackson offers a big strong body with good agility and balance. St Louis strengthens their interior line and can still look to add more defensive depth later in the draft.
Re: Witlon and Schniso Do A Back And Forth Mach Draft
Detroit selects S Jimmie Ward, Northern Illinois
James Ihedigbo was added, but let's face it, they still need help on the back end. With Ward and Gilbert, to go with young talents Darius Slay and Bill Bentley, the Lions have successfully fixed their week point on defense, and still have time to get another WR talent in the 3rd.
