Their is no guarantee that Smith would have been as successful as Rodgers if their roles had been switched.

Just saying that their is a night and day difference between sitting behind a HOF vs starting your rookie year, with the great stability at the O-Coordinator position.

Sitting behind a HOF is insignificant in Rodgers' case, as he and Favre were never close teammates.

Or would he be better off having to watch Brett Farve play for 3 years then take over. Steve Young and Joe Montana were never close but Young learned a lot under Montana. So that not close BS argument doesn't hold water.
