Matt Holliday, Can You Say Ouch?

Matt Holliday tonight went 0-4 with 4 K's in Game 1 of the NLCS rematch with the Diamondbacks. He is now 1/14 so far this season. What's up with this guy? He will right himself, I'm sure, but I don't know how soon. I know it's early in the season, but 4 K's is really a bad sign. We will see where this goes.

The entire Rockies lineup tonight had a tough time with Owings (who only allowed two hits.) Sure half of his strikeouts came thanks to Mr. Holliday, but I don't think now is the time to grow concern. Slumps happen and given that he has only had about 15 AB's, with overall batting ability, he could break out that one any day.

watched the game....rox didn't look good at all. taveras put good wood on the ball in the first, and that was it until helton's dinger. they might just be pressing a bit too much trying to pickup where they left off last year with their insane win streak. let them calm down a bit, they'll be right back into it again.

Don't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.

They can't hit, they can't field, they can't pitch. I have a feeling henks hit the nail on the head, though.

Gotta win these next two and settle down a bit, then do well against ATL before heading out on the road to SD and Arizona.

Well, I haven't updated my profile because I am in Colorado now. Oops.

    I lived in Cheyenne from 2000-Dec. 2007.
