One flaw. Technically, while I don't know the minor leagues' rules, in the Major Leagues, the hitter has every right to switch sides MID AT BAT, provided the pitcher is not in his delivery, or in position to begin his delivery. The pitcher, however, must pick a side, and stick with it for the whole at bat. He may switch mid inning, but not between pitches. Technically, the umpires broke a rule by not knowing the rule. You'd think that if they knew the switch pitcher was on the roster, they'd check the rules....

But the at bat never even started when the whole fiasco was going on.

Technically, the batter can change following the pitch. But like I said, the pitcher has to announce which side he is pitching with, and the umps didn't have him do that...

yankees should seriously consider bumping him from whatever level hes at to aaa, and trying to rush him to the majors thereafter.... he could always have initial zeigler-like success due to his pitching oddities


then again, he might be at aaa by now... but last i saw he was just dominating a ball or something
