    Indians Indians Swept!!

The Indians were just swept by the Texas Rangers and were outscored 29-14 in the three game series. Reigning Cy Young winner Cliff Lee was rocked for seven runs in five innings. He also took a liner off the forearm which didn't help any. Carmona was equally as bad giving up six runs in five innings in game two of the series being outpitched by Vincent Padilla of all people. In Game three, it was no different. Carl Pavano was absolutely pitiful. He was charged with nine earned runs in just one inning!! Only bright spots in game three was Sizemore wnet deep twice and Martinez, Hafner and Shoppach all went deep as well. Rough start to the '09 season.

So basically what you're saying is the offense is fine, but the SP staff has a lot of work to do

If you wanted to sum up three games like that, yes.

    Wow.

And we're in danger of being swept again in our opening home series against the Blue Jays.

Seriously, nobody on this team can pitch. Lee got rocked again today.

It's a shaky staff from the get-go if you think about it. Could Lee possibly repeat? Odds are no, but will he be as bad as he once was to get demoted.. who knows. Carmona was terrible last season before he got hurt, had no control. The #3 is Pavano and they have some guy they just put on the DL. They might be relying too much on call ups and what not but Glass Carl as your 3rd guy is alarming.
