Reds down 10-0 in the 1st inning!

Gosling and Homer Bailey gave up 10 runs in the first inning. These guys are supposed to be apart of our future. I understand that Bailey should be in minor league camp by now, but Gosling is getting shelled this spring.

I just mentioned that Gosling may not be over his 2004 injury in the minor league thread. I think this may still be the case. Thank God this is only ST.

Well disregard my sentiments on Bailey. Turns out I did not have all the information. He ended up only giving up 1 run and it was unearned. He gave up 2 hits and has struck out 4 in 1.1 innings.

Bailey goes 1-2-3 in the 3rd and gets his 5th K! OK he is not doing bad at all. Gosling, on the other hand, had a horrible outing. I sure hope it is just some more conditioning he needs.

Well, so much for Gosling. But maybe its good he starts the season in Louisville. But, IIRC, thats 2 bad outings in a row against the stiffer competition. I think we can take him out of the spot for the rotation, which gives Germano a stronger chance now if Wilson cant go.

I agree Volzok. Gosling may have all but lost his chances today. Hopefully he will benefit from this in the long run.

This Gosling hack was a good pickup.

Germano is the guy I am most interested in.

14-1 now as Standridge gives up his runs. This is ridiculous. 4 runs given up by Standridge now.

Reds team ERA for the spring at this point is 4.15. Not bad. A little more encouraging I guess.

Hopefully this means people stop talking about Gosling like he's good.
