    Actually I do pay attention to REAL rumors backed by actual league sources which this wasn't. Giants don't have any rumors because their team is set and don't need anything. Also the Royals don't need another young OFer. They have DeJesus, Brown and Sanders. Neither Kearns or Pena would start over these guys. By the time Sanders' contract is up, one of the Royals prospects like Butler will be ready.

    Emil Brown is solid. Not better than Kearns or Pena, but he's not bad. Of course, he's also 31 and coming off the only good season of his career, so you can take it with a grain of salt.

    After seeing this guy play the field, I can say with a certainty that he is better than Pena and Kearns. Kearns has only had one good year so you can take that with a grain of salt. I like Austin and have actually played against the guy but he can't stay healthy and is barely a starter on his own team.
