wade miller?

Anyone know the status of Wade Miller's health? I know he had surgery in sept, but i don't know how serious it was.

The red sox are expected to non-tender him, and i could see signing him to an injury contract. He's still got a power arm, and could be effective/cheap.

I don't know the status of his health (but from Red Sox fans I talked to they acted like he would be apart of their rotation if they keep him, but maybe they weren't well informed). If he is non-tendered, I sincerley hope we sign him. I wanted us to last year and hopefully Dan O will want this former Astro. Low risk possible high reward, what's not to love? Even if he needs a few months of rehab or what not, this is just the kind of risk we should take assuming his injury concerns are nothing too huge.

I don't think he'd be in the Sox rotation.

He's good if he's healthy, but he was so inconsistant and had some Radke-esque first inning woes, just on memory. Wouldn't be a bad risk.
