Apparently O'Brien said that one of the outfielders likely WILL be traded during his chat with Lance McAlister this evening.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.
For what?

Trade Griffey to the Yanks for Bubba Crosby and Mel Stottlemyre.

Why not? Bubba Crosby has an awesome first name, Mel is WIN METHOD, and Griffey's old and senile.

If Dunn is traded (for anything below a fair return which is an elite pitcher of course, but no team will likely give) who's got the pitchforks and torches?
I do! I would gladly parade around looking for O'Brien with you.

Good to hear. Hopefully even he is not stupid enough to trade Dunn. But then again, this is the guy who just realized that homers are bad for a pitcher and strikeouts are good.
I am thinking Pena will be the odd man out though.
Is Pena a lefty? If he is, he would look good mashing in Safeco.
No, he just kills lefty pitching.
I think it will be Pena too. Just based on what I've heard O'Brien say and what I've heard in general.

Casey is unmovemable. Griffey's value has probably dipped even though the last injury wasn't huge, the Reds probably figure the closer he is to the end of his contract and the possibility of him hitting like that next season that his value will rebound. Dunn would net the most pitching but hopefully if we do deal him we deal him straight up for a high quality pitcher and not a grab bag of ok pitchers and kinda' good types. And if they keep Dunn, likely that means they want to look into a LTC and I imagine Dunn will want to stay more if he has his buddy Ears around (not to mention I think the FO believes that Kearns ceiling is higher and his current value is too low to risk in a deal.)
But hey, I am still keeping my fingers crossed that Casey will be dealt.
O'Brien will probably lock Casey up for another five or more years because of his vet. presence.

No trade will happen unless they cut down on their asking price.
