It seems there is a lot of consistent agreement that the Cowher Power Techniques might prove to be superior in the end, particularly as we get closer to clutch, playoff-like situations.

Keep in mind, though, that we have already beaten the Cowher Power Techniques once this season.

    The Bengals are pathetic.

No offense and still the same, terrible defense we always have.

    Please stop the misery.

I can't take these terrible franchises anymore.

The playoffs are looking less and less likely.

Billick is doing a great job with the Ravens on the other hand.

Can we trade Clueless for him?

The Marvin Honeymoon needs to end NOW.

    I'm tired of the excuses.

The guy simply doesn't prepare his team as well as a large number of opposing coaches.

    The defense is awful.

    Just terrible.

    Fire Marvin! Fire Marvin!

    Falcons 29, Bengals 27

    This franchise is AWFUL.

I've had it with you bashing everything! You give lap dances to the Cards. You want to fire the best coach the Bengals have had in the last 15 years. Either suck it up and take a loss like a man or go be a fan of another city. I'm saying what everyone else in the Reds forum lacks the testicular fortitude to say. You are the biggest bandwagon rider I've ever seen. We got beat by a better team, plain and simple. We also got beat by a bogus roughing the passer call.

Just take it like a man, please!

Bravo man......one other point. Marvin Lewis is the only coach for the Bengals to not have a losing season. Some people seem to forget Mr Lewis was the coach that ended the 10+ years of playoff drought. He didn't just forget how to coach.

I'm sensing a lot of jealousy because I have consistently been right about many key issues involving various franchises.

I'm so used to jealousy though, it's really more funny than anything at this point.

Marvin hasn't had a losing season? Wow! They haven't been below average under him yet?! What a coach that makes him!

The fact is the guy has no clue how to build or coach a defense and his play-calling is sad too.

We will NEVER be in the same league as Bill Belichick's teams. That is a REAL coach.

And it is unlikely we will get it done against the Steelers and Ravens either, because both Billick and Cowher are better than Lewis in CLUTCH situations.

As I said about the Cards, the same goes for those teams.

But the pattern will continue. You will be angry because what I say will be validated and then you will start again with the wah, wah, wah, wah, wah.

    Quite comical.

It's like a badge of honor when it comes from you.

Rudi ran well on the first drive today and then got the ball SEVEN more times the entire game.

    Brilliant.

Marvin is a lot like Narron.

He preaches his "do our job" mantra all the time, yet the players don't follow through. Our CB's were consistently focusing too much attention on Vick instead of letting the other players take care of him. They kept allowing receivers to get open because they were doing other players' jobs and would lose focus on the WR as a result.

Bresnahan is a terrible defensive coordinator too.

Just as Narron preaches the "little things" only to see the team not get ANY better at those supposedly important things, the same thing goes for Lewis and his "do your job."

The teams don't practice what these guys preach.

Apparently our definitions of consistent differ. You are the same person who said over and over again that the Reds were worse then the Pirates just 2 years ago. How did that finish out? Pirates finished 7 games back, and this year even further. And really the only other two predictions I remember you ramming down peoples throats are the Cardinals each and every year and now your Steelers that are by my last count 2-4 on the season and currently losing to the LOWLY Raiders. I ask you, how clutch is that? In my opinion if you throw enough crap against the wall, eventually something will stick. As for me, I'm not even a Bengals fan. I'm just noting what I see.

Also, I am a lot of things, but one of them is not being jealous of you. If you really want to be a good journalist someday, perhaps you should allow people to compliment you on your writings......instead of you constantly complimenting yourself and how brilliant you are. At some point in time, when you think everyone is against you, maybe it just might be that you are going about things wrong. Just a thought......either way, have a good day.

Marvin can't coach a defense? IIRC, didn't the Bengals lead the NFL in takeaways last season? Didn't Marvin's defense in Baltimore win a Super Bowl? Just curious.

And if you are so enamored with the Steelers, then why did they get dismantled by the Falcons too?
