Reds Survive for next season - Round 1

Here is a list of 40 players that could be apart of our future. The rules are the same as the last survivor, except you are voting off the player that you do not want to be with the team in '06. Keep the guys that we want to stick around as long as possible. Once we get down to 25 men, this is what we would suggest for our 25 man roster. The winner of this survivor would be our choice to be the franchise player to build around.

The Simpson family gathers around, as Homer places Bart's passed test on the fridge.)

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

I am going with Weber. He was really struggling before going on the DL and I do not have confidence that he can come back strong. He is my first to go as I see no future with him and this club. On that note, I would not mind the Reds ridding themselves of him altogether with him as we need to open up room for younger talent in the bullpen.

At least with Weber you could say he may have been suffering from his pinched nerve. So my vote is my favorite whipping idiot Rich "The Loud Mouth Loser" Aurilia.

My vote is for Aurilia. Management says, "Batboy, show Mr. Aurilia to the parking lot."

Milton. There are worst players on the list but I want to be rid of his contract sooner than later.
