Volquez and Cordero combine on one-hit shutout!

Sure, it's Houston, but still, this is a huge performance for Volquez who seems to have turned it around. This is the second outing in a row for Edinson where he only allows one hit and he has dominated Houston both times he has faced them. Nice showing by the up and coming Reds who are now back above the .500 mark.

Their lineup was without Berkman, but there are some other good bats in the lineup so it was a solid outing to say the least by Edison (and a big sigh of relief for Volquez fantasy owners like myself.) Volquez returning to form is very needed given the sad state of affairs for the Reds lineup.
