Player Votto looks good today for Canada

4 for 5 with a bomb off Peavy. I was honestly expecting him to really suck this spring as he has openly admitted in the past that he is a slow starter. Remember his struggles in ST last season?

I am thinking he is really working hard right now to push himself to the next level. It is being said that he is the hardest worker on the team and the guy that shows up before anyone else. We have a bright future ahead of us. If Bruce can follow suit, the days of Dunn and Kearns could be a distant memory.

He demolished that ball from Peavy.

Ironically, Dunn looked good for the USA.

I hope Votto can pick up some of that Offensive slack Dunn left behind. He has been having a great spring, lets just hope it transfers.
