    Injury Another SS Goes Down

Jolbert Cabrera dislocated a finger sliding into 2nd base while trying to advance on a wild pitch by Mike Mussina. He exited the game. More information to come when it's available. Paul Janish replaced him as a pinch runner.

How many same title threads are we going to have? This is getting insane. I don't think we have room to call up another SS. Perhaps Keppinger will have to come back before he finshes his rehab assignment. WOW!

Jolbert Cabrera had a great 2nd half with the indians last year and was 4-4 tonight before getting hurt. he would have been perfect for the team as well

The Reds really need to get Kepp back quickly from what I have seen from this Jarnish guy in the series the Reds played against the Redsox. I believe in one game the Jarnish guy struckout all 4 times. He just is not ready for M.L. pitching yet and it is a shame they have to rush this guy due to injuries, but that is part of the game sometimes.

Janish really isn't rushed as his ceiling is just a defensive oriented MLB backup, but you are absolutely right in that he isn't ready. When it comes to scrubs, I don't really mind if they are called up early.
