Ethier gets an RBI basehit on a 1-2 count fastball up in the zone. Just where Bako wanted it too.

5-3 Reds, we need an out here. Kemp is up.

Basehit to RF. Kemp is killing us tonight. 5-4 now. Runners on the corners for DeWitt with 2 outs.

Arroyo's fastball is getting hit big time right now.

Arroyo Ks Hu getting away from the fastball. 3 pitches in that AB and none of them a fastball and he gets the K.

After talking Arroyo up all game, he just gave up 5 straight hits with 2 outs all on fastballs. He mentioned it earlier in the season; his fastball has no life on it. I am afraid they Dodgers figured that out. I am not sure why he was using it so much this inning, but he got killed with it.

Possibly, I wonder if they will let Arroyo bat here. I don't know his pitch count though. It has to be up there.

Bako walks. That is Penny's 4th walk. Hatteberg was coming up to bat, but he was called away and Arroyo stays in the game to lay down the bunt.

Freel GIDP on the first pitch. So after Bako works the walk, we are up there hacking at the first pitch? Yep. Incredibly dumb.

    Re: Reds at Dodgers 5/19/2008

    Young flies out to CF
Pierre just pushes one to CF. Lucky hit there.
Pierre gets pickedoff, but Votto can't throw him out as Votto double clutches yet again. So its a stolen base instead. What is up with Votto and double clutching?
Ethier grounds out to Votto, 2 outs

Pitching change and it will be Mike Lincoln to face Martin.
