I have no confidence in Dick Pole

Bronson Arroyo isn't as good as he was in 2006. Cueto is going downhill fast. The only 2 SP that we've been able to count on is Harang and Volquez. The only common denominator is that Dick Pole is the pitching coach.

Having said that, who would you replace him with? I vote Mario Soto.

lol.. yeah i have never understood why he wouldn't at least go by Rich or Richard...

anyway.. he is still a Hold over Pitching coach back when the Reds were not spending money on a manager or Coaches.. you get what you pay for..

To be honest, I don't think Browning can stay on the wagon long enough. I always thought that Jose Rijo would make an excellent pitching coach too, but no one has taken a flyer on him.

I believe Rijo is in the Nationals organization somewhere. Maybe in the Dominican for them?

You are honestly blaming Dick Pole for this? Isn't this his first year with the team? If not, its still his first year with Cueto who is a rookie you must remember. So its Pole's fault Arroyo sucks (never great to begin with) and Cueto is struggling in his first year and not Pole's fault that Harang and Volquez are doing well? Can't have it both ways!
