Griffey or Dunn may be shopped real soon. Patterson sure isn't making life easy for Krivsky.

I hope he doesn't so Dusty doesn't think he is a newfound Neifi Perez.

Patterson is off to a nice start guys, but lets not get too excited. If memory serves me correctly, he did the same thing last year in Baltimore and fizzled badly in the 2nd half.

Castro grounds out to Fielder. 2 outs. Good to see him make an out when it doesn't matter.

Easy cowboy...remember Hopper lead the national league in hitting in the month of August....I just think Patterson is hot right now.

I think so, but I am not 100% sure on that. May have to do some research on that. I am getting old and dont remember things like I did when I was in my younger days.

It sure is nice that in a matter of one year, we have a feeling of depth throughout our team. I mean with the emergence of Cueto and Volquez, we still have Belisle and Bailey that we can call on in case of injury. And with Patterson, Dunn and Griffey we are able to strengthen our bench with Freel and Hopper and allow Bruce to continue to grow getting all the AB's he wants at AAA. We even have depth in that when Alex Gonzalez comes back he will allow Keppinger to play multiple spots whenever needed. Our bullpen is looking solid so far with Burton being darn near lights out. The only position that makes me somewhat physically ill is catcher, and as long as we have solid defensive catchers that can manage the young starters, I can even stomach that.

    2nd Half:

    .313 BA .333 OBP .458 SLG .791 OPS 6 HR 19 SB 24 RBI 23 SO

    Much better 2nd half.
