Will he match the record or even break it in this series? He could

Seems like something an advance scout would know. Oh wait...

Yeah, oops. Not good at all.

Well, the good news about that HR is this game will gets tons of coverage on ESPN tonight as a result. "So Krukie, can you analyze why that particular Bonds HR was so special?"

Harang is throwing hard so far tonight but doesn't seem to have great command for some reason right now.

Klesko is walked now. Good start for Harang on the first two batters, but seems to have lost focus.

Of course I've wondered for some time about this team's advance scouting, as I feel I have picked up on more things that the team should do against certain teams/players than the guys in charge. I hope Mackanin's a better manager than he appeared to be an advance scout.

Ground out to Gonzo. Harang's pitch count is already high.

Yep a lot of us have. Its a hard blame to point though IMO. I mean, Mackanin may have given good reports, but who really prepares for the game anymore? Hatteberg and... who else?

Number 751. My brother is there right now and he called. Sorry-he's a Giants fan. So he psyched. But I think it's kinda funny how Bonds' AB worked out. Harang had just made Bonds look like an ablsolute fool on the 0-1 pitch, but then served up a fat one that Barry launched into the stands.

Harang's got 36 pitches through one inning. Wow. Hopefully he'll be able to settle down as the game progresses.

Yeah I was talking to you. Didn't feel like typing your whole name out so I shortened it to hottie.

I hope Mackanin has enough sense to take him out no matter what is going on once he gets above 100 pitches.

Griffey gets under it and flies out.

    2-0 Giants after 1.

    Griffey just missed one.

    Zito gets a 1-2-3 inning.

Zito sure had one economical inning. 3 up, 3 down.
