    Mark Sheldon, of Cincinnati.Reds.MLB.com, reports Cincinnati Reds OF Ryan Freel (concussion, head contusion) served as the designated hitter and went 1-for-4 in the first game of his rehab assignment with Triple-A Louisville Sunday, June 24.
