I'm pretty sure Yunel Escobar is the projected replacement for Renteria, unless something major has changed since I last read about it.

Escobar is now being groomed as a 3B, at least since Chipper went down. Has two errors there in 10 games, decent with the bat thus far. But Escobar is an older prospect, 25 ish, and I'm sure they're aiming for an Escobar-Andrus leftside one day. At that, it's not like Renteria is ancient and falling off.

As for Junior, I'd take him but not as an AJ replacement (unless Jones goes for something nifty). A Junior-AJ-Francoeur would be pretty solid in my opinion. But I wouldn't give much, heh. Settle for Buddy Carlyle and Bryan Pena?
