Gotta love it as a manager when your closer comes in and walks the leadoff hitter. Screw LaRussa.

Send the runner to avoid the DP ball from Moeller.

Moeller grounds out to SS. EdE took off on the hit andrun so they do not attempt the DP.

Valentin walks. I think they were comfortable with going against Hopper versus messing with Valentin too much there.

There is no question that was on purpose! Franklin had something to say to BP and then when BP got to 1st base he blew Franklin a kiss! They want him to back off that plate and he isn't going anywhere.

That is not a good way to get to BP if you are the opposite team, remember when Oswalt went after him. He flat tore those guys up, before and after that!

When and how the Reds add to their five World Championships, nine pennants and nine division titles seems less important than the franchises' lineage, which traces a line back to the dawn of the professional game and their role as keeper of the historic flame they lit by birthing the Red Stockings in 1869.

Nevermind, it is Gonzo up. I got lost with all the double switching and stuff.

This is a lot of pitches for Izzy. He could get tired and groove one here.

Sweet man, I didn't catch all that. Hopefully BP catches some fire then. I still think it would have been nice to get back at them a bit.

Gonzo must have taken batting practice with Harang this afternoon. What a horrible pitch to swing at. 3 outs.

Going to the bottom of the 9th now. This is going to suck.

    Gonzo whifs.

At least the top of the order comes up for us next inning... if we get that far.
