With only 88 pitches, there is no doubt he should still be in.

EdE makes the play! Hit hard but the shatterd bat slowed it down.

I honestly don't get the Harang criticism. He definitely wasn't at the top of his game, but we know what getting hard looks like... *cought*Kyle Lohse*cough*. This has been a fine outing.

Wilson grounds out to Gonzo for the second out.

Harang has definitely done well. He's been hit hard, but in the end they stayed in the yeard and no harm was done. He's doing what good pitchers do: battling when he doesn't have his best stuff.

    Just got back.

Has Harang looked good or bad here? It's hard to get a read. Sounds like he was a little BABIP lucky (for once) early on and then settled down, yet still isn't striking out as many?

He had that great start a couple back but the other ones recently where he looked so bad it looked like he was injured, particularly with the way his delivery looked.

I don't know what to make of it all.

I just saw this as I jumped in on the game thread when it reached page two.

Anywho, I like to believe I have the wit of a Yale man at the price of being a UD bum (and UD's Administration has no sympathy on us bums financially).

Yeah it has been a very good outing. But I really think he has been lucky. I love Harang and I hate to criticize this game as we have seen many other performances by other pitchers far worse than this. Specifically tonight, I have been looking to see if he has shown health issues. Going to the 8th and I think he is ok.

But really, 3 starts in a row now where he isn't the same pitcher. Just my thinking. But I am greateful for his pitching tonight for sure.

That ball bounced off Harang AND Phillips' gloves. Bases loaded, 2 outs.

Bad early on, pretty solid for the past four or so. His velocity isn't at his top peak but it's been consistently 90-92 (which is average) and he has had a bit of trouble locating his breaking stuff. He isn't striking out a ton, but we all know Harang can have an outing with 1-3 strikeouts and then have a game with 10+.

This has got to be the worst luck team in the history of the game. WOW!
