    Update on Josh Hamilton?

It seems like he has been out for an eternity, but no move to the DL. I am OK with Norris Hopper, but to be honest, I'm a little tired of seeing him in the lineup.

Has there been anything said on when he might return? I was thinking about going to one of the games here soon, but I want to make sure he is playing.

I saw a quote somewhere today that Narron said he is better and available to pinch hit but, not quite there for actual game duty.

You mean you don't want Hopper and his .265 OBP(same as his BA) batting second?

His .559 OPS is pretty impressive also.

We just don't get what it's like living in Jerry's World.

I don't know; that is a whole lot of scrappiness.

gastroenteritis is what it is called, but its similar to the flu I think

Per Trent: Hamilton to the DL

I guess he was having problems digesting food, and is still very weak. That sucks. Not sure who is coming up, but I'm praying for Eddie to come back up.

it doesn't really suprise me. gastroenteritis or the ten day flu sucks bad. i had it as i said and it takes a long time to recover from. it sucks because you can't digest anything not even water so you get dehydrated easily. i had to goto the hospital about 3 times to have an iv put in me.

it makes the most sense to bring EdE back.. put Freel back at CF and get Hopper out of the lineup

    Edwin recalled!

Hopefully that demotion will put a spark in him, and he will hit like he normally does.

That is GREAT NEWS, hopefully this will get him playing up to his potential. I did notice Hamilton was at the game last night dressed to play, maybe that means he is getting close.

I feel Hopper did ok in his absence, not great, but he did ok. Maybe last nights comeback will spark these guys to start winning again. The BP has looked good lately now if we can stop all the errors we may be ok afterall.

Hopper looks a lot better when he's in the same lineup with Castro and Moeller. Unfortunately we have seen those three in the same lineup at the same time far too often.
